River was an impulse buy from a new club member. She just had to come home with me – look at that face! She just had the cutest little ears and nose, and tiny little manx stub. We don’t get many manxes at Zen, the last was fat orange Nova, so it was about time we got another. River was a little shy at first, but with some time and love, she became one of the most outgoing and confident mice in the cage. She particularly loved leaping up onto the mesh roof and clambering about upside down – with no tail to help her balance! What a clever girl.
